Our Story

We make our own plans, but the LORD decides where we will go. – Proverbs 16:9

At the encouragement of Carol Wimber-Wong, Dave and Debbie King opened up their home to a group of believers who were in need of God’s love in a real and authentic way. It was during the time when Christians were not allowed to meet together to worship God.

This group was birthed out of a desire to simply live out the GOOD NEWS, to SEEK GOD, and to be HIS HANDS here on earth. Over the next several years, this group continued to grow until they finally had to leave this beautiful backyard and move to a larger facility.

Everyone is welcome. Come expecting.

We believe

• We believe that our Eternal God exists as the One True God in three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
• We believe that the Holy Spirit inspired the Bible as our final, absolute authority, the only infallible rule of faith and practice.
• We believe that mankind fell from grace, but God sent His son Jesus into the world, and through His sacrificial death on the cross and resurrection from the dead, offers humanity redemption for their sins.
• We believe in a literal heaven, the destination of all those who have received salvation through the redemptive blood of Jesus and believe in His name. We also believe there is a literal hell, the destination of the devil and his forces, and of those who refuse the sacrifice of Jesus, preferring darkness to light.
• We believe in the filling and empowerment of the Holy Spirit and believe in the exercise of the biblical gifts of the Spirit.
• We believe that God’s kingdom has come in the ministry of Jesus, and it continues to come in the ministry of the Spirit through the Church. We believe in the “Second Coming” when Jesus Christ will return and reign as everlasting King.

Leadership

The best leadership doesn’t come from independence but from dependence on the Holy Spirit.
